Tina Seed

I qualified as a speech and language therapist in 1997 from Cardiff.

I have worked many areas across England and Wales with many different client groups. My role prior to EATS was to set up and manage a SLT service for adults with learning disabilities across North East Lincolnshire and I developed and expanded this service for a ten years. In addition to my SLT qualification I have completed a variety of post graduate qualifications.

Throughout my career I have also had an interest and an active role in AAC. I helped set up and managed a local specialist multidisciplinary AAC assessment service that has been cited in national documentation as a positive model of interdisciplinary working.

I started at EATS in December 2015 and have enjoyed supporting the development and expansion of our specialist regional service as well as the hands on assessment.

I lead on training, students and other projects. I am passionate about enabling others in the community to understand and use AAC, in all its forms.
