About this event
Join us for an evening with the Lincolnshire EATS team, to discuss assistive technology in OT practice.
Technology is integral to daily life in the 21st century and is transforming how health and social care services are delivered and experienced. Specialist and everyday technologies can enable people to engage in the occupations that are important to them within their homes and have more control in managing their own health. Occupational therapists have a role to play in helping people select and use technologies that will promote occupational engagement and participation, and in facilitating independence in a safe manner.
The Lincolnshire EATS team provides specialist assessments for the provision of augmented/ alternative communication devices and environmental controls for patients across the East Midlands.
Free tickets are now live through the link below. Please feel free to share this with anyone you think may want to join. It is open to any student or qualified health professionals.
